Argentinian Wildlife Challenge
Staff at a wildlife charity will be capturing photos for conservation in a bid to raise awareness and funds for wildlife in Argentina.
The British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA) will be getting out their cameras and snapping as many shots of Argentinian species as possible during their zoo and aquarium visits as part of their BIAZA Buy an Acre Campaign.
The campaign was launched by BIAZA, the professional association for Britain and Ireland’s best zoos and aquariums, last year in partnership with international conservation charity, World Land Trust (WLT) to help buy and protect land in the Sierra Gorda Biosphere Reserve in Central Mexico.
This year, the charity is focusing its efforts on raising funds to help purchase a property called El Pantanoso in northern Argentina.
