ZSL are holding an exciting Apprenticeship Conference on Monday 7th October to provide leading insights and practical guidance on supporting and implementing the newly approved Keeper & Aquarist Apprenticeship. 

Our aim

The conference will give participants the opportunity to understand the new standard, hear open and honest feedback on ZSL’s experiences so far, and gain practical tips to start implementing Apprenticeship programmes. There will also be the opportunity for discussions with other employers around setting up potential collective cohorts.  To view the newly published Apprenticeship Standard click here.

 

Background

This Apprenticeship has been created in collaboration with over 25 zoos and wildlife parks across the country and has just been approved for delivery by the Institute for Apprenticeships.  ZSL have created a framework to support the new approach to Keeper and Aquarist training, and would like to share their experience with other organisations who are keen to utilise this exciting new qualification and key development for the industry.
