Course content:  This two day online lecture based CPD course is designed for zoo professionals including vets and nurses in general practice that do clinical work for zoological collections or colleges.  It is everything you need to know about the roles and responsibilities of being the named zoo vet for a premises with a zoo licence!  It is also open to vets, nurses with an interest in zoo work. Subjects included: Preventative Medicine, Clinical Care, Training & Enrichment, Legislation, Animal Transfers, Pathology, Breeding Management, Emergency Procedures, Contingency Planning and the Ethical review process.  A detailed programme will be sent to delegates prior to the event.

Date and timing: Wednesday 16th and Thursday 17th June 2021.  The meeting will open from 0915 with the course starting at 0930.  Lunch is planned for 1300-1400 with a finish time of 1715-1730.  There will be regular breaks during the day.

Cost: £525 for 12 hours of CPD. All the course information (copies of presentations, templates, reference material) will be provided via an online link prior to the event.
