Volunteer Native Species Subgroup Coordinator Wanted!
The Native Species Sub-Group Coordinator is an important role within the TIWG as you will be responsible for liaising with the Native Species Working Group and also with relevant NGOs such as Buglife, the Royal Entomological Society and the Amateur Entomologists Society. You should have a keen interest in native UK invertebrate species and be excellent at networking and facilitating projects as and when they arise, as well as keeping the chair and Vice-Chair up to date with current developments and seeking their mentorship where required.
You will be expected to obtain full support from your institution in order as it will often mean working outside of your normal work hours.
Applicants should contact both Mark Bushell (Chair) on [email protected] and Lauren Lane (Vice-Chair) on [email protected] with a short introduction on why you feel you should be considered for the role. The deadline for applying is December 15th 2016.
