Sharks: they're diverse, wide-ranging, exploited, feared, and loved. BIAZA's shark awareness week aims to put these incredible species into the spotlight; from the oceanic giants to the overlooked denizens of our native waters. We want the oceans of the future to be teeming with biodiverse and ecologically-essential sharks.
To celebrate shark awareness week (6-13 July) our aquariums have submitted individual sharks they care for, and we'll be holding daily votes for the eight nominees throughout the campaign. Be sure to cast your vote for the sharks (and rays!) you think are most deserving of recognition (or just your favourites!)
