Paper writing workshop for zoo keepers
Are you animal care staff, working at a BIAZA collection, who's interested in getting involved in science and writing up a paper? On behalf of the BIAZA taxon working groups, we're running an online workshop for keepers, aquarists and other animal care staff that are interested in learning more about how to write a scientific article, what permissions are needed to publish research and why it is important to check before you submit, and where to go / who to submit to.
Come along on Wednesday 19th March 2025 from 18:00-20:00 to participate in this free workshop that's being run by Taxon Working Group research liaisons Paul Rose, Dani Free and Kat Finch.
We'll be covering:
- Types of article and planning a paper.
- Getting permissions, and seeking help and support.
- Where and how to submit.
- Group discussion for Q&A.
This workshop is open to all those with direct animal care duties in BIAZA collections. This workshop is not aimed at students or established researchers.
