New Scientist Live 2019
The British and Irish Association of Zoos and Aquariums (BIAZA) is the national zoo association. We proudly represent zoos and aquariums who not only demonstrate the highest levels of animal care but who lead the way in scientific research, conservation, and education – inspiring visitors to care about the natural world and take steps to protect wildlife for future generations.
Science underpins the work we do. Research carried out by our members encompasses a range of disciplines from nutrition to veterinary science, reproductive physiology to animal behaviour, with the knowledge gained benefitting animals in the wild as well as those in our care.
Find out about some of the projects here.
We are joined on our stand by the Zoological Society of London, Chester Zoo, SEA LIFE London and Knowsley Safari.
