AWRN are pleased to announce that registration is now open for their 9th Annual Meeting.
Meeting Location and Date
The meeting is being held at Engineers' House, Bristol, UK on Wednesday 10th and Thursday 11th September 2025. In addition there is an Early Career afternoon on Tuesday 9th September at the same location, so if you are an ECR then do keep this date free too. Engineers House is a Grade II listed venue situated near the Clifton Suspension bridge.
Why attend?
There will be some fantastic talks, including plenaries from Maria Diez Leon (Royal Veterinary College) and Liz Mullineaux (President of BVA) on their work on Wild Animal Welfare. There will also be a plenary from Dan O’Neill (Royal Veterinary College) discussing extreme body conformations in dogs.
This is not just an academic conference though, the aim will be to bring together a mix of researchers and stakeholders and to offer opportunities to meet and network as well as listening to talks. The plan is for interactive breakout sessions, stalls to introduce technology that can be used for animal welfare and a drinks reception to enable collaborations to be formed.
