BIAZA Annual Conference

Taking place at RZSS Edinburgh Zoo, 9th-11th June with a packed agenda celebrating the amazing contribution zoos and aquariums make to conservation, education and research; the continuously advancing standards of animal welfare; our links and partnerships; and how we inspire change.

9th June – Optional trip to Highland Wildlife Park. Welcome drinks. 
10th June - Conference talks, zoo tours and an evening buffet.
11th June - Conference talks and the Gala dinner (Gala Dinner tickets are purchased separately)

Highland Wildlife Park trip includes: coach from Edinburgh Zoo to Highland Wildlife Park and back, entry to Highland Wildlife Park, a picnic lunch and tours/talks from the keepers. Coaches will depart from RZSS Edinburgh Zoo at 8am on Tuesday 9th June and return in time for the welcome drinks.

To ensure the opportunities to share best practice, learn new ideas and network with like-minded peers are accessible to as many members as possible and to uphold the highest standards of inclusion, BIAZA are offering a grant that delegates can apply for. The grant will cover the conference fee and help with travel and accommodation costs. Please see more information and a link to apply below.
