BIAZA Bear Husbandry Workshop

Tickets are now on sale for the 2026 BIAZA Bear Husbandry Workshop!

Join us at Edinburgh Zoo on 13–14 October for two days of talks, workshops, discussion and tours.

This year’s workshop will focus on enclosure design, while also featuring talks on a range of other bear husbandry topics. Keynote speakers for both days will be announced soon.

An optional icebreaker will take place the night before the workshop for anyone who can make it. There will also be an evening meal at the zoo on Day 1, which is included in the ticket price.

On Day 2, we’ll be holding a raffle in support of Free The Bears, with all proceeds going to the charity. If you’re able to, we’d be grateful if you could bring along a bear-themed prize to donate.
