BIAZA Conservation Education Conference

Our 2024 Conservation Education Conference will take place on 5th - 7th November at FlamingoLand!

This years' theme is "Building a Culture of Conservation Education".  This is a phrase taken directly from our Conservation Education Policy (& from the World Zoo and Aquarium Conservation Education Strategy) and we hope it will allow for exploration of lots of different ways conservation education can be innovatively incorporated into everything we do as a sector, providing useful CPD for anyone working in or interested in conservation education.

We have a really exciting agenda planned for you full of talks, panels and workshops covering topics such as connecting with diverse audiences, evaluating education impact, BIAZA accreditation experiences and influencing wider education policy.

Full conference tickets are £200 for BIAZA & ABWAK members (£300 for non members) and £80 for day tickets (£115 for non members).  Tickets for the gala dinner are £20 (£30 for non members).

Accommodation is available onsite in caravans and lodges.  These need to be booked separately by emailing [email protected] or [email protected].  Prices are below.  Note that they are cheaper if shared - you are welcome to use our educators' Facebook group to find other attendees to share with.

Above prices are for 2 nights (5th & 6th).  Additional nights can be booked at £30 per person for caravan or £50 per person for lodges.
