Taking place online via Teams, 6-7.30pm.

This webinar will aim to discuss the what is meant by animal welfare and how we go about assessing it and improving it with an auditing process. The core requirements of the BIAZA welfare policy will be touched on and the BIAZA animal welfare assessment template explained. We will then, with a few example taxa, show that there are important considerations which may be species specific. However, the BIAZA template is intended to be generally applicable to the majority of species and has the capacity to be customised to allow for taxonomic differences.
