Taking place online, 6-7pm and being run by Zak Showell, CEO of Shaldon Wildlife Trust.

The upcoming Standards of modern zoo practice for Great Britain is one of the largest changes the zoo sector has seen in decades. Whilst many of us are aware of the significant changes around topics like tethering, touch pools and the changes in Hazardous animal categories when drilling down its evident that the need for zoos to record and evidence practices will be greater than ever. This talk will look at how these new standards with impact zoological records and ways in which collaboration and sharing will ease the burden of transition.
