The BIAZA Mammal Working Group Conference 2025 will be held at Hertfordshire Zoo, 13-14 May.

Run by the BIAZA Mammal Working Group (MWG), the Conference provides fantastic opportunities to share best practices and network with like-minded peers. During this two-day event there is time to learn about a range of topics across mammal taxa, that could have a direct impact on your institution, the animals you work with, and support your continued professional development.

Please book your place early by following this link https://biaza.digitickets.co.uk/event-tickets/63085?branches.branchID=699

To make these opportunities available to as many of our members as possible, and to attain the highest possible inclusive standards, the MWG are offering two opportunities for grants for this years’ conference. Please download the Grant Application below and return to Jessie Boylan [email protected] and Peter Watson [email protected] no later than the 1 Feb 2025.

Many thanks to Waterhouse Feeds who have sponsored this year's agenda.

If you're attending this year's BIAZA Mammal Working Group conference at Hertfordshire Zoo, you'll also have the chance to visit our sister site, The Big Cat Sanctuary, on May 15th. The Big Cat Sanctuary is not open to non-guided day visitors and is home to around 40 cats, both large and small.

Please note that you’ll need your own transport to attend. Registration with the free ticket is required, and spaces are limited, available on a first-come, first-served basis.
