The 2026 ZSL/BIAZA Plant Working Group Browse Workshop brings together zookeepers and zoo horticulturists for a practical introduction to browse and forage provision within zoological collections.

Through a combination of presentations, demonstrations and hands-on sessions, participants will explore browse management, pruning techniques, plant identification, seasonal provision, enrichment opportunities and specialist feeding strategies.

The workshop is designed to encourage collaboration between animal and horticulture teams while promoting safe, sustainable and welfare-focused browse provision practices
