The BIAZA Plant Working Group has agreed to host a joint annual conference with EAZA in September 2023.

The host will be Edinburgh Zoo and the dates agreed are: Tuesday 26^th – Thursday 28^th September 2023, with an ice breaker event on the evening of the 25^th.

On day 1 (Tuesday 26th September 2023) the theme will be ‘Sustainable Plant Procurement’, day 2 (Wednesday 27th September 2023) we will look at ‘Browse Production and Plant Toxicity’ and on day 3 (Thursday 28th September 2023) ‘Plant Selection and Planting Design for Animal Enclosures on a Small Budget’ will be our focus and will involve a practical / workshop element.
