BIAZA/ICCCG Giraffe Behaviour Workshop 2025

Would you like to learn cutting edge information on how to better care for giraffe? Our upcoming Giraffe Behavior Workshop offers a unique opportunity to gain valuable skills in a variety of topics with content experts. This collaborative workshop is designed to pair lecture material with hands-on opportunities in giraffe training & behavior, hoof care, environmental enhancements, and leadership/problem solving, as well as a brief look into how enclosure design and management practices can stimulate and encourage natural foraging behaviours and reduce undesired behaviours.

Kindly hosted by West Midlands Safari Park, Cheyenne Mountain Zoo's International Centre for the Care and Conservation of Giraffe will be partnering with BIAZA and Behaviour Works to host this second workshop focused on improving welfare for giraffe in zoos.
