A two-day course, including lectures, practical exercises in the zoos, developing resources and discussions to assist you in implementing and delivering the new SMZPGB whether you are a local authority officer, zoo inspector or a zoo operator.

This brand new and bespoke course takes delegates through all the changes, developments and advances in the new legislative standards. The SMZP (2025) are more specific, more detailed and more comprehensive than ever before. The core standards have increased from 159 to 328 and these will be examined and explained. The documentation and evidence of compliance required is much greater and we will discuss how to produce relevant documents. We will also cover the brand-new standards for animal demonstrations and displays, birds of prey, great apes and managing zoonotic diseases.

Including buffet lunch, morning and afternoon snacks and a package of materials including templates, explanatory diagrams and references.

 £349 per person

With a special B&B Rate of £283 for 2 people in the new Safari Reserve
