UFAW Online Animal Welfare Conference

20 – 21 June 2023

As part of our ongoing commitment to improving animal welfare through a scientific understanding of animals’ needs and how these can be met, UFAW is organising an online conference on 20 – 21 June 2023. The conference will feature presentations from a range of speakers on animal welfare science.

Call for abstracts

Presentations can take one of the following formats:

• Talk (15 minutes plus 10 minutes questions)
• Short talk (3 minutes plus 2 minutes questions)
• Poster

Abstracts should be written in English and be no more than 400 words. When completing the submission form, you will also be asked for the title, preferred format (talk or poster), the name and contact details of all contributors and information on the ethical oversight of the work undertaken. Abstracts will be assessed on their scientific and animal welfare merits. If accepted, you may be asked to present in a format different to your preferred one.

Abstract submission deadline is Tuesday 31 January 2023.
