Sadly, last week the community said goodbye to Jeremy Mallinson, a pioneer of conservation. Jeremy was known to colleagues as a diligent, inclusive, passionate and humorous in a variety of conservation roles. As well as undertaking several roles at Jersey Zoo (including as Director), Jeremy also had an outsized impact to the Conservation Planning Specialist Group (CPSG).
Jeremy will be remembered not only for his impact in conserving the natural world, but also as an inspiration and mentor to many aspiring and, no doubt, future conservationists.
