Paradise Wildlife Park is coming together to be advocates for celebrating and
educating about diversity and inclusion. They are showcasing their support for the
LGBTQ+ community with their pride of lions lighting up the night sky with rainbow
colours to welcome the 50th anniversary of Pride Month this June.
Pride month is a month to highlight acceptance, equality and to celebrate the
work that people in the LGBTQ+ community have brought to the world. Paradise
Wildlife Park, will be celebrating along with other Zoos and Aquariums across the
country for BIAZA’s Love Your Zoo Week which is promoting Love throughout
everyone and everything. With the notion that we all work together to thrive in
one world we love, protect and conserve.
There will be animal keeper talks with additional information for the BIAZA Love
Your Zoo Week throughout the month of June. Paradi Pride of Lions with the
infamous male lion Moto who has his own fan base will be the advocates for
celebrating diversity and inclusion and will be the beacon of hope for all Zoos and
Aquariums to come together to support the LGBTQ+ community and to share their
colours with pride.
