Woodside Wildlife Park is a BIAZA and EAZA accredited zoo situated in
Lincolnshire. We actively participate in conservation projects and
international breeding programmes. Having a wide range of animals
From tropical butterflies to tigers, penguins, crocodiles and wolves
making Woodside an inspiring place to work.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join
our animal team.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
•Provide exceptional standards of animal welfare to a full range of
species. With additional training given for carnivores.
•Provide outstanding levels of husbandry and enrichment for animals.
•Maintain accurate records and identify areas for improvement.
•Deliver educational presentations to groups.
Candidate:
•Excellent interpersonal skills.
•Must be a team player with the ability to multi-task.
•Ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
•A minimum of one-year previous experience of working with a range of relevant species is desired.
•A relevant animal qualification is desired.
The position starts immediately and is full time permanent following a trial period.
Full training will be given to the correct candidate.
Pay Rate - £24,960 based on a 40-hour working week
