Marketing Manager

The Big Cat Sanctuary is a leading conservation and education charity that’s helping to prevent the extinction of threatened big and small cat species all over the world.

We are now looking for an innovative and passionate Marketing Manager who will be able to design, manage and implement marketing campaigns and strategies. The ideal candidate will have highly effective communication skills and the ability to manage and interpret customer intelligence to enable business growth and improvements.

The Role

The Marketing Manager will have strong marketing experience, operating at a senior level, whilst also having a thorough understanding and proven hands-on success of Digital Marketing.

Job Requirements (Essential)

▪      Must have an interest in BCS’s mission, excitement for the brand, and be naturally passionate about zoos and conservation

▪      Proven success working in marketing at a management level

▪      Experience in promoting brands

▪      Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to build strong working relationships

▪      Attention to detail and ability to escalate potential issues as they arise

▪      Ability to work effectively to deadlines, thriving on change in a fast-paced start-up environment

▪      A team player & previous leadership experience

▪      Confident use of the Microsoft Office suite of programs

▪      Must have a full driving license and access to own vehicle (as BCS is not accessible by public transport)

▪      Must already be eligible to work in the UK or have a valid UK work permit/visa

Working Conditions

▪      Permanent; Full-Time position; 40 Hours per week, worked 08.00-17.00 Monday to Friday on-site at our Sanctuary in Smarden, Kent, with some with occasional early/late/flexible working to accommodate deadlines or special events
