Reporting to the Animal Section Head this position will be the section 2i/c. They will be responsible for deputising for the Section Head and in their absence leading a team of five F/T staff and typically two seasonal staff. At these times they will have day to day responsibility for animal welfare and husbandry, the presentation of the collection and exhibits. They will work closely with the Section Head on policy recommendations for breeding and ethical matters.
