Manor wildlife park is a popular wildlife park in the pembrokeshire countryside just outside of Tenby. It is in a beautiful Welsh countryside setting but also very close to the coast. The park is a member of Biaza and Eaza and we are looking for a full time animal keeper to join our team.
The position will work across all sections which include rhino's, camels, tigers and primates. Experience in the zoo industry is prefered. Full driving license will be essential.
A confident and friendly personality is required as part of this role will be to communicate and interact with our visitors during public talks and experiences.
The succesful candidate will be expected to work 5 days out of 7 and this will include weekends and bank holidays in order to provide care for the animals on a rota basis. Working hours vary during the year between summer and winter.
Short term accommodation may be avaliable whilst more permamnant accommodation is sought.
The salary for this role is £23,750 with annual holiday entitlement of 28 days.
