Corporate Partnerships Manager, The Big Cat Sanctuary

Full-time, based onsite at BCS, 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, 08.00 to 17:00)
 

Position Summary

The Big Cat Sanctuary, a leading UK charity dedicated to the conservation of big cats and the preservation of endangered species, is seeking a passionate and proactive Corporate Partnerships Manager to expand and develop our corporate partnerships portfolio. This role will be crucial in advancing our mission to support global big cat conservation initiatives, promote education, and inspire wildlife preservation through strategic partnerships with corporate supporters.

 

Key Responsibilities

·         Develop and Manage Strategic Corporate Partnerships:

Identify, cultivate, and maintain high-value partnerships with corporate supporters, ensuring alignment with The Big Cat Sanctuary’s conservation mission.

Craft compelling proposals, pitch effectively to corporate partners, negotiate partnership terms, and create impactful collaborations that generate significant income.

·         Create and Deliver Corporate Engagement Programs

Design and implement a Corporate Membership Strategy that drives engagement and funding for big cat conservation initiatives.

Expand The Big Cat Sanctuary’s Investors in Conservation program to increase corporate support and awareness.

·         Cross-Functional Collaboration

Work closely with other departments to gain a thorough understanding of The Big Cat Sanctuary’s programs and identify potential corporate synergy opportunities.

Translate these insights into lasting partnerships that advance both the corporate partners’ goals and The Big Cat Sanctuary’s mission.

·         Budget and Progress Management

Manage income and expenditure budgets effectively, ensuring financial objectives are met.

Provide regular quarterly updates on progress and partnership outcomes.

Maintain detailed records using The Big Cat Sanctuary’s CRM system to ensure all corporate relationships are well-documented and monitored.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will be a dynamic and results-oriented professional with a background in corporate fundraising or business development and a proven record of success in generating significant income. They will possess:

Strong relationship-building, problem-solving, and communication skills.

A demonstrated ability to manage cross-departmental projects, develop persuasive proposals, and maintain effective client relationships.

Passion for wildlife conservation and a commitment to The Big Cat Sanctuary’s mission to protect endangered big cats.
