Principal Duties & Responsibilities include:
Content Production: Research, plan, film, and edit original photo and video content for TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and other channels.
Digital Storytelling: Produce creative, engaging, and emotionally resonant content showcasing our animals, people, and conservation efforts.
Trend Awareness: Stay up to date with social trends and pitch new ideas tailored to audience behaviour and platform algorithms.
Content Strategy: Work with our Senior Content Creator on campaigns and posting strategies to grow engagement and audience reach.
On-Location Coverage: Capture content at Hertfordshire Zoo and The Big Cat Sanctuary, including events, behind-the-scenes work, animal stories, and projects involving the Whitnall brothers.
Content Library Management: Maintain an organised archive of video/photo content accessible to the wider media team.
Occasional Travel: Support coverage of national or international conservation projects and events.

Organised, deadline-driven, and adaptable across multiple projects
Able to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently
Comfortable engaging with diverse people, including public figures, and filming in varied environments
Full driving licence and access to a vehicle are essential
In line with the requirements of the Asylum & Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK or must obtain permits before application (documented evidence of eligibility will be required as part of the recruitment process)
