The Head of Conservation Engagement and Learning is a new role for the Trust based within Jersey Zoo. The role sits within the senior Zoo Operations team overseeing the Learning department at Jersey Zoo. The role will oversee the schools programme, visitor engagement and zoo interpretation, and provide advice where required for in-situ community education/engagement at some of our field sites. The role is also responsible for maintaining the Learning department’s and the Trust’s archive of documents, art and biological materials as well as overseeing the children’s play areas in the zoo, and the accessibility and inclusion for our sites. A diverse role working closely with teams from Animals, Communications, Fundraising, Admissions, Field Programmes, and Conservation Knowledge.
