Sealife Adventure in Southend-on-Sea are looking to employ a Senior Keeper to join our team. This is a new role within the company so we are flexible with the role title and salary based on previous experience and current ambitions. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated person with plenty of experience with Primates and/ or Reptiles. As this role is also a leadership position the ability to take control and lead, coupled with good problem solving abilities are required.
Senior Keeper role:
The successful candidate will (after full training) be expected to work across the five sections of the site and assist in all areas relating to animal husbandry, primarily focussing on the Mammals and reptiles.
Required-
- 5 + years working full time with Mammals and/or Reptiles
- Experience medicating animals
- Being comfortable conversing with Vets
- Confident at team management
