Dudley Zoo & Castle, a leading Black Country visitor attraction, is looking to recruit a Conservation-Education Presenter to join our enthusiastic team.
You will join our dedicated team of educators who are responsible for delivering a range of informal and formal education activities, including but not limited to our daily talks programme and our curriculum linked school workshops to schools.
A degree level education in a biology/conservation subject, or relevant experience in a similar setting, is required. Excellent communication (written/verbal) and IT skills and the ability to communicate with a large group of people is also required.
Enthusiasm for (and experience delivering) educational activities to a wide range of age groups, from EYFS through to post 16 will be advantageous. Experience within a zoo or similar environment would also be advantageous.
The successful candidate will be self-motivated with an enthusiastic and positive approach to the education and conservation aims of Dudley Zoo & Castle.
A full clean driving licence is required.
This is a full time permanent position working 5 days out of 7 including weekends and Bank Holidays
