We’re looking for motivated and dedicated placement students to join our team as Keeper Assistants for the 2025-2026 period.
This is an unpaid, hands-on opportunity requiring a commitment of 3–5 days per week. As a Keeper Assistant, you’ll work alongside experienced zookeepers, gaining invaluable experience in animal care and conservation initiatives. If you're hard working, passionate about wildlife, eager to develop your skills, and determined to make a positive impact, we'd love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with daily animal care routines
- Support the maintenance of animal enclosures and habitats
- Contribute to enrichment and training programs
- Learn about animal health, nutrition, and behavioural management
What We’re Looking For:
- A genuine passion for animals and conservation
- A strong interest in pursuing a career in animal husbandry
- A strong work ethic, reliability, and excellent teamwork skills
- Previous experience or relevant studies in animal care (preferred but not required)
