Education Exchange Placement

Dates: Ideally 12^th and 13^th May

Person Spec: This placement would suit educators who are looking to expand what they currently offer and want ideas on how to create programmes for disadvantaged young people. Or it could be something that you already offer, but want an information share on how we can create best practice in this important area of conservation education.

Details: Dartmoor Zoo has a long history of working with disadvantaged young people through alternative providers and community organisations. It is a bedrock of our conservation education programme and something we are continuing to grow. The suggested dates would cover a session with our decade long programme with a local alternative provider as well as one of our newer programmes with the King’s Trust alongside general time to see the wider work of the Dartmoor Zoo education team
