This 3-month internship is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience and skills in conservation education research and delivery, and contribute to the work of the Trust.

The Intern will help with the work of the Conservation, Research and Education Department. This may include, but is not limited to, the following activities:

  • Public engagement and education for conservation
  • Assisting with the delivery of education workshops/activities and other daily activities where required
  • Contributing to interpretation and educational resource development
  • Helping coordinate education events
  • Conservation education and visitor engagement research
  • Reviewing literature and online media
  • Data management and analysis
  • Aiding the Conservation, Research and Education team in other daily activities where require

The ideal intern would have:

  • A passion for the outdoors and nature, and sharing this with other people
  • Background/interest in citizen or behavioural science
  • A full driving licence
  • Very good people skills
  • Experience with talking to groups is desirable
  • Enthusiasm, commitment and reliability

Some weekend working will be required.
