Are you passionate about the fascinating world of reptiles, amphibians, fish, and invertebrates? Do you thrive in hands‑on environments where every day brings something new? Would you like to be part of a forward‑thinking team shaping the future of a developing Animal Management Centre?

If so, this brand‑new role could be perfect for you.

This is an additional technician post, created to support the growth and development of our Animal Centre, supporting our current LVI Technician to improve our facilities, and elevate the student experience.

About the Role

As our LVI Technician, you will champion the care, welfare, and development of our specialist species, ranging from reptiles and amphibians to aquatic and terrestrial invertebrates. You’ll play a key role in:

  • Contributing to the ongoing enhancement of our growing animal collections

This is a practical, varied role where no two days are the same—perfect for someone who thrives in a lively, hands‑on environment.

What We’re Looking For

We’d love to hear from you if you can bring:

  • Demonstrable experience working with lower vertebrates and invertebrates
  • Strong knowledge of freshwater, marine, reptile and amphibian husbandry
  • Confidence in maintaining specialist enclosures and life support systems
  • A proactive, solutions‑focused mindset
  • A collaborative approach and a commitment to student development
  • Willingness to support weekend and evening rotas

Above all, we are looking for someone who is passionate, curious, and ready to make a meaningful impact.

Why Join Us?

At Easton College, our Ways of Working mean we value kindness, curiosity, collaboration and creativity. You’ll be part of a team that’s supportive, forward‑thinking, and genuinely excited about the future of our Animal Centre.
