This is an exciting opportunity to lead the development and delivery of our conservation and zoo research strategies, based within the unique environment of this popular Theme Park.

You will be expected to work under your own initiative to manage and lead the implementation of existing conservation projects and grow the Park’s research and conservation science profile to directly involve and benefit the zoo’s living collection of animals and contribute to national and international research programmes and forums.

In addition, you will contribute to expanding and implementing a conservation education programme to include innovative educational activities and curriculum-linked workshops that engage and inspire our guests, and to evaluate the effectiveness of these activities by collecting evidence.
