Front of House Team Member

Job Description:

St Andrews Aquarium is a popular visitor attraction located on the historic seafront in St Andrews. We are passionate about marine life, conservation, and creating memorable experiences for our visitors. We are looking for a front-of-house team member which will bring a friendly and welcoming attitude.

Key Responsibilities

·         Operating the till, phones, and online booking system

·         Opening and closing procedures for front of house

·         Greeting guests and ticket sales

·         Stocking the gift shop

·         Handling customer queries (in person and over the phone)

·         General cleaning duties for front of house (this includes reception, gift shop, toilets, and public facing areas around the aquarium).

·         Operating the coffee machine

·         Cash handling and cashing up tills

·         Liaising with the keeping team as required

About You

·         Excellent customer service skills

·         Good time management and ability to work independently

·         Ability to work efficiently and communicate effectively

·         Previous experience in customer service and / or retail is desirable but not essential, training will be provided
